HISTORY
Isaub is a place first discovered by Palawan natives called Tagbanua. This cultural minority group lives happily, abundantly and peacefully in the area. Fruits, vegetables and other products of agricultural crops grow abundantly in the area. Farming and hunting in the wild is the major source of income of the residents. Slash and burn (kaingin) system was the major system of farming. Palay, corn, banana, vegetable (corn crops) and root crops were the important crops grown in the area. The tribal group was headed by the chieftain that rules and serves as the head of the Barangay.
In 1910, the first school was established with the initiative of an American philanthropist and the first commoner teacher Mr. Fabian Manlavi.
In 1930, Isau was registered legally as one of the barangay of Aborlan. This was through the initiative of Mr. Francisco Lumis.
